The General Services Administration (GSA) has announced a comprehensive refresh of all major Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) and multiple-award vehicles—including Oasis+ and Alliant 2—scheduled for completion by the end of January.
This initiative aims to embed recent “Revolutionary FAR Overhaul” deviations directly into contract vehicles, effectively modernizing them by updating, adding, and eliminating dozens of clauses to prioritize commerciality and simplification. For government contractors, this signals an imminent shift in compliance requirements and contract structures, including the addition of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) to vehicles like Oasis+.
To prepare, contractors are urged to closely review MAS Refresh 30, which was released in November and serves as the template for these changes, ensuring they are ready for the new regulatory landscape that will define their contract vehicles in the coming weeks.
