#DebatesCorner - The "8(a) Narrative" Requirement: Is Creative Writing Replacing Diversity?

Let’s debate

With racial presumption gone, the SBA now relies on “Social Disadvantage Narratives.” Does this make the program more equitable by focusing on individual hardship, or has it simply turned GovCon into a storytelling contest where the firm with the best consultant wins?

Is this new “narrative” era creating a more robust, defensible program, or is the administrative burden distracting from core business development? Let’s discuss how to navigate this new compliance landscape effectively.
