Stop Hiring for the IRS Like You're Hiring for the DoD #DebateCorner

Challenge for every GovCon CEO reading this:

Walk into your recruiting bullpen tomorrow and ask one question:

“What’s the difference between our DoD hiring strategy and our civilian agency hiring strategy?”

If the answer is silence, or worse, “We treat them the same,” you just found the leak in your growth plan.

The DoD is spending $961 billion and can’t find enough cleared talent. The IRS lost 26,000 people and can’t hire fast enough to keep the lights on.

These are opposite problems. They need opposite solutions.

Stop asking one playbook to win two different games.
